Not necessarily...when I was in title we did an OFAC search, which shows it a person is a terrorist or "do not fly list"...other than that, there are no guidelines for anyone else, and no BGC performed. All the research is done on the house, the property, title work... If he's a sex offender, that is up to him to register and make sure he conforms to the rules the court laid out and where he can live. Mental illness and being a a**hole doesn't mean they can't sell him a house. If anything, talk to the LO who knows him more in depth, but they want to make the $$ and sell to anyone who qualifies, it's business. He could have been perfectly normal then, who knows. Mental illness strikes in many ways. Now if reporting him causes him to break his qualifying conditions, and loses his job, he will not qualify for the loan, but it sounds like you already did the closing? |
