They schedule these closing typically a day or 2 in advance, on the assumption everything will be ready. When they schedule it, it's not. They, unfortunately, do not have that crystal ball to be 100% on all the time. I had one today cancel on me 30 minutes prior to closing time. It's not all the time, and trust me, they don't want to cancel and want to get things closed. It's part of the business. What hurts is when you turn down closings, and then this happens. There is nothing we can do except just let it go. It happens, and for me, it's really not that often. If a company consistently has that track record of cancellations, they would be my last resort of accepting from them, especially if busy. |
