Hello. I work in a law office part time as a legal assistant. I am also an independent contractor notary public on the side (my own business and my commission paid by myself). I wanted to know if it was legal to notarize my employer’s (attorney) document and charge him $15 for one sig while clocked in on company hours ? Can I charge him if I’m working for him at the same time ?
