First of all, sorry you had to endure that experience.

Then ... is this the Pacdocsign in Los Angeles that appears in Signing Central with 2-1/2 star rating?

Finally, was this pay requirement discussed and agreed to prior to undertaking the assignment? Does the written confirmation you received from Pacdocsign mention that you'll be paid your full fee regardless of outcome? Does it say anything regarding pay? Apparently, theirs is not a stellar reputation. ;-(

Don't get me wrong! I agree with you that you took all necessary precautions regarding C-19, that you traveled to signing location and that borrowers should have been honest with you whether it was 2 days prior or 2 hours prior to signing. However, I further believe it behooves us to get all stipulations in writing to avoid frustrations such as this.

Are they willing to pay you anything at all? Keep after them. Hopefully, they'll pay at the very minimum a travel and print fee.
