It's a big deal with the County Recorders in CA. Names must be legible, and notary seal must be dark enough. I tried to have this conversation earlier about keeping enough ink in your commission seals, but it ended up on a long weather channel.

Notary is responsible to make sure the acknowledgment is prepared properly. Legible, readable, and seal has enough ink.

They have the final say. I've had calls from the EO where they felt I should redo the acknowledgment before I left their office, during very busy times.
