There are just way too many selfish people out there that just don't get it and they don't care if YOU get sick.
It's high time for the manufactures of n95 type masks to ramp up production for the ordinary person. Not just for those in high exposure fields.
WE NEED MASKS THAT PROTECT THE WEARER!!
I work in an office (my 'real' job) where I'm the only one that wears a mask consistently. On when I leave the house off when I get home. But realistically since everyone else if fickle about it, none of us are really protected.
I honestly feel that if there were real 'protect the wearer' masks on the market, you'd see an uptick in mask wearing. I think some no mask wearers are depending on someone else protecting them from infection. Like the signers who won't wear a mask, knowing you will.
As for the doctors that don't wear masks--I wouldn't trust them to wash their hands between patients either.
