I have had that happen. Now when they say "single doc" I let them know if there are additional docs, the fee will increase. Single doc means one document notarized. possibly a PCOR or something like that can be added, but no more than 4 pages total with one that needs notarization.

You are totally justified asking for higher fees!

It's not worth it to leave your house for $60 during a pandemic let alone during normal times.

That signing service is absolutely shameful if you ask me. BLOCK!
