Orange country does not require the mortgage to be witnessed.

The tricky part comes in play then, do you sign as one witness? Do you leave them both blank? It's just what the lender wants, not a law.
Fairwinds Credit Union for example requires 2 witnesses and my witness gets paid...

I usually sign as 1 anyway unless told not to...some do not want you to sign there at all...
They all need to get on board, or just take it off the form to stop the insanity of guessing.

 The FL witness requirement varies by county. Some require 2 -  MW/VA on 2/25/21 9:47am
