You keep telling all of us how this is the best place to be and you have been a paid member since they started NR or close to it? You just reminded the Shoemakers of how many years it's been and their anniversary. You believe the paid members are in somewhat of a superior role here (or should be) than those who are not paid members. How do I know this? Because you make sure and remind us all when convenient.
Above you state NR going downhill because there used to be more people in the business dedicated to work, more informative information exchanged. Why are you still paying here and not going to the moderated forums? Save your money then. I hear your friend has a place you can join and special tiers you can pay for to make feel like you are getting more bang for your buck. Even a forum you can pretty much run since nobody visits there, they are here, including the guy who owns it.
You state more this forum used to be more informative information, I agree...yet you were talking about Ikea kitchens today, right?
We all get off track and run amuck, but you of all people can't seriously state that because of your storytelling with the best of IF not THE BEST of them. We could have a whole post in the leisure section of which they remember the most from you.
Most of us post relevant things. Some of us  are storytellers and name throwers. It is what it is, but don't bash NR or compare it to anything else out there. There is no competition. If people can't handle the friction, there are certainly milder places to hang out, but they don't come anywhere close to here and this is because it is not edited, or filtered. jmo |
