Ok. A fee of $125 for a standard refi is unacceptable to me.

I am doing a commercial refi today for Fidelity Title (located in another state). This is very rare for me. Print one set of a 91 package document. No scans. The borrower is flexible for any time today.. "How much would you charge?" asked the Escrow Officer. I said $200. I was abivalent as to whether I got the job or not. He said "OK, that's fair".

So I picked the time of 1:00pm today. It does fit perfectly. However, I want to be careful about deviating from my "just say no" policy to loan signings ( and drugs). Doing most loan signings is a losers game. I won't travel down that rabbit hole ever again.

A RON for Amrock is the occasional exception. That will soon completely disappear as most borrowers will not refi in to a 6.5% 30-year mortgage.
