I've never used a special encrypted email service. If I'm sending to a user that uses the same email provider I do, like Google, there may be encryption; check out the documentation from the provider. But there surely isn't end-to-end encryption if the sender and recipient are using different providers.
On the rare occasions I need to encrypt something, I put the information in a Microsoft Word document or PDF and encrypt it with a password. Then I find a way to provide the password to the recipient. I might give the password by phone. |
