MV does not state what their commission will be within that 40 years. 7% or 17%. 27%? You do not have a clue when you sign, it's not stated, you blindly signed a 40-year contract that has a lien on your house.
If you refi, it's going to cost you thousands to break that contract. If I am not mistaken, is 4% of the home value based on the current appraisal. I have done 2 of these, and really hard for me to go out and sign customers when I don't believe in it however legal it may be. Is it worth that $700- $1,000 check you may get up front in exchange for signing the property over to a 3rd party for 40 years?
How well does MV really try and sell your house being hundreds of miles away from it? Yes, they are in south FL here and are soliciting all over the state. Think about it...or should I say, they don't want you to think too hard.
It may be a win for the real estate company, but really a stupid move on the homeowner tying their hands for 40
years, demanding they use this company no matter what commission and fees are charged on their end game. It's a no-win for the homeowner and this company banks that you will refi and pay them off multiple times over what they sent you or you default and try and sell with another realtor, wasting time because that won't come up until a title search is done and then have to back out of the deal and start over IF you forgot about this. Not a quick close and can blow a whole deal. jmo
