The pandemic was actually good for the signing agent business. Companies didn't necessarily offer more but it was easier to counteroffer and get accepted. Business was booming with lower interest rates and a lot of notaries sidelined themselves due to fear of Covid. It was the old formula of supply and demand working in our favor. Once the pandemic ended, fees dropped back down with increased interest rates and less demand for our services.
