May not be accurate. I just looked at the California Notary Handbook and was unable to find that quote.
What made me look was the discrepancy in the quote. First, it states "California Notaries Public ... " then it says " ... issued in Colorado ... " Does that mean a California notary may only accept a digital ID issued in Colorado (and no other state)? Or, was that excerpt misconstrued from parts of CA notary law and parts of CO notary law? Wonder where XYZ took that from ... or did they germinate it themselves ..... ??  |
