The loan signing business is cooling off very quickly now and most of us are going to want to look for other Notary opportunities that don't involve the lending industry. Well the pay isn't nearly as good but it's real notary work. Inquiring minds would like to know how in the world are you notary signing agents going to become professional practicing mobile notary publics without already knowing these important things. So what if it's not in the handbook this year, it doesn't need to be in the handbook. Notaries exist at the pleasure of the Lawyers and most of the non - mortgage notary assignment are under the direction of Lawyers. Except as a "practicing" notary public you will be expected to have at least a basic knowledge of the Probate codes. Your new Lawyer clients just expect you to handle it and if you don't know what to do then too bad.
