Migrants are not coming here for "free stuff", they're coming here to escape conditions in their home country. They do not get welfare and social programs if they're not citizens.
Since you brought it up, why didn't YOUR ancestors stay in their own country to try to change things and make them better? That's the argument you used, isn't it - instead of coming here, these migrants should stay in their own country and "take it back" (whatever that means). Your ancestors didn't do that, did they? They got on a boat and came here to start a new life, didn't they? Was it hard for them? Yes, and it was hard for mine also. It's hard for every group, and that has never changed. A lot of immigrants weren't wanted here, and that hasn't changed much either.
