It's really sad, yes. He was an employee as well and was out to avenge his co-workers. Nothing is going to stop the insanity, so may as well start packing yourself just in case you need to defend yourself. I don't see anything changing, and taking firearms away from citizens that do not have any criminal background is not solving the problem and will never happen here.
I believe what they need to do is study what the heck happened in the last 20 years compared to all the decades before to see where the change is. I never had this growing up or even crossed my mind of mass shootings or school shootings. It never existed.
The only thing I can think of is that assault rifles were banned back then (we called them machine guns, automatic weapons), and now they are not. Did that floodgate open this hell hole we are in now? Even if they banned them again, there are too many out there already.
Stop making these people famous, assign them a number, and stop the press from glorifying these individuals. IDK...truthfully, it's just the way of life and we have to live with it. |
