I would tell them that you love them to death, and that you really appreciate the invite, but, because of your own health conditions, and the fact that Texas numbers are beginning to spike, this year, you are making the decision to not go out. Blame it on your doctor even, who would probably agree wholeheartedly.
I also have friends that I’ve quit telling them I would feel better if they got vaccinated. They’ve got their reasons and I’ve got mine. Although none of us agree, and will probably never agree, it’s become an unspoken subject among us.
