Being fully vaccinated with both boosters, hubby and I attended the Air Force Academy Graduation that took place outside in Falcon Stadium. Regrettably, one day out of 2-1/2 years, we didn’t wear our masks. We were surrounded by 20 family members in front, behind and beside us and not sitting next to complete strangers. Three days after graduation, hubby began a dry cough and my head became congested. We are both positive and with different symptoms. His is staying with just the cough and body aches from coughing. Mine is more like a severe head cold that goes from congestion and not being able to breathe thru my nose or my nose running nonstop like a faucet. The pressure in my head is causing tremendous ear pain, and I can’t even describe the headache except to say it feels like a hatchet in my head. I am used to migraine pain, but this pain far exceeds it. Our niece, the head of hospital COVID unit, husband, son and grandson, also all fully vaccinated and boostered have it. This newest B2 strain doesn’t care if you are vaccinated.
