Hi Janet,
Are you and I the only ones who haven't had Covid? What are we doing wrong....err....right?
Need to compare notes!
News that B4, B5 and B5.1 totally evade antibodies from vaccines and prior infections. It settles lower in the lungs which doesn't help recovery. I caught up with some reading yesterday and discovered Covid only enters the lungs as the gateway to the bloodstream. Perhaps you already knew that? From the blood it goes after all the organs and just grinds away. Thus, long Covid. Fatty organs are more susceptible, thus the problem with obesity, (going back on my veggie diet as best as possible). That makes herd immunity totally impossible.
Lastly, and don't know why I never caught this since it was discovered way back in 2020, blood can thicken up by 30% in some cases. Don't need to describe all the scenarios to take off of that small bit of news. Yikes!
We sat down last night and had another reminder talk of how to stay safe in the near future. Same-o, same-o.
We mask, social distance, disinfect daily, hourly if needed, wash hands counting well past 20, stay away from facilities that can retain and condense viral particles, sanitize everything that enters the home, put friends and family on alert to our updated stand to prevent embarrassment, exercise, take our vitamins, walk, eat garden to table as much as possible, and take our temps daily. We have yet to use a test kit.
We still get out...in the open! Imagine a very tight hiking pass where people are exhaling deeply without a mask passing you by. If you read my post on Yosemite, we wore our masks. We also held our breath, backed away, stood aside, whatever it took to not breath in others. We sterilized our rooms daily when entering our room.
Not saying any of this will help us much longer. I was reading a good article yesterday on how others who have not had Covid feel about that. Was quite interesting. Dumb luck, or being conscientious? I don't know....
Continue to take care and stay well!
