If you read the stakeholder names, they're listed alphabetically by last name. I wouldn't read anything into the NNA being at the top of the list.
"Is this really a big problem?"
Apparently it's a big enough problem that they felt the need to drag all these people into a meeting to discuss it (I wonder if it was a video conference...). They're not really offering any solutions - on the question of how the notary could verify identity, they just said that the notary would have to take more precautions. Gee, thanks Captain Obvious. There's no suggestion of what those precautions might be.
The other thing is that this is really premature - we can't do video notarizations domestically, why are they trying to figure out how to do them internationally? |
