One of my 1st notarial acts was for a co. that requested

I meet with employee and sign I-9. It was over 4 years ago and I didn't know what to do with it (probably why they called a new notary in 1st place). What I DID KNOW was without notarial verbiage/certificate I couldn't notarize. I included ack language (which I now know is not the procedure- not to mention UPL). Probably would have been better if I HAD attached a loose Ack - but then I wasn't supposed to determine WHICH act!
