Wouldn't this give them contact information for those clients and allow them to solicit them to use the SD platform? The end result might be that your direct clients buy into the SD sales spiel and start using SD for their loan signings, offering lower rates that previously offered since they would now have to pay a fee to SD.
If the SD algorithm gives more weight to how "complete" a profile is and how many signings have been completed through their platform than to how close the notary is to the signing location, that puts us at a disadvantage if we do not want to provide all of our information to SD.
I do not like to see notary search results that show notaries more than 10 miles away at the top of the list when I am only one or two miles away. Sounds a lot like 123...except you don't pay to be listed higher, you are giving away more of your information instead and will pay in the end by being offered lower fees than previously offered. |
