I think you make some excellent points here, Teresa. These policies seem designed to be manipulative, to encourage us to give them more and more information about ourselves. Now it seems they also want information about other clients we work for. How convenient! And how potentially self-defeating for any notary who falls for that!
I'm sorry, but I'm seeing a disconnect between what we're being told and what we've seen from how things really work on that platform. I still see this service as leading in an ever-expanding downward cycle for those of us at the end of the loan process. So far everything I've seen is for the benefit of the signing companies with no advantages for us, unless we're OK working for less and less pay for mostly low-end companies.
I recommend proceeding with caution - if at all - with these guys...
