paper as it absorbs a lot of ink (or copy paper) and make stamp impressions on it to fill the sheet and then see if there is a noticeable alteration in the imprint as you progressively are stamping. This technique could give you a clue regarding malfunction (over-inked) or faulty stamp (leaking ink reservoir).

For my peace of mind, since this is a critical component of your business and performing your services, I believe that a replacement stamp would be the optimum solution to this dilemma. Smile
