Good posting.
Having been a paralegal for 17 years, I know the value of weeding through superfluous information for an answer. After I had exhausted our research resources, I went to someone else who might know more. But, those of us who worked in the law always looked for the answer first.
Sometimes the OSB and SS do not bring up an answer. Perhaps it should become standard for people to say they have searched first online (google, etc.) and SS and used the OSB before posting the question. I people are supposed to do a search first pursuant to the forum rules/TOS, but the problem is that you (you in general, as to the person responding) never really will know they HAVE searched unless they tell say so.
Personally, if I had a question that's the way I would do it, I think.
