Thank you for replying back to us/the forum. You sound a bit discouraged, but don't be. And don't beat yourself up. You have found out you can't act as a NSA for mortgage loan signings, but there are other signings you can do in GA that you might not know about.
Go to the Welcome page, and then to the bottom of the page and click on Archive. On that page, click on the left box labeled Search The Notary Archive, and you'll see a list of states. Click on GA and pick a city or your city and you'll see a listing of notaries that advertise on NR. Read their profiles, as they list the types of signings they do. You'll see loans that are not mortgages, car loans, general notary work such as POA's, Wills, anything that needs a notarization. Some are attorneys, but not all of the notaries listed are.
