Had one on 11/13 where Mrs'. first name was misspelled on all escrow docs -- showed as Shelley; should have been Shelly -- all lender docs were correct. Signing was booked on 11/7. Docs were sent directly to borrowers for an out-of-state purchase. Mrs. informed me of error on 11/8, when she received docs. I contacted SS and was informed to cross through, print correct name and initial. I asked them to please check with TC as there was still time to correct and re-send or print (for an additional fee) and advise. SS agreed but said if I didn't hear back to proceed as instructed. Never heard back.
As OP said: sloppy and lazy ....
