I believe the issue of building a wall is not so much about race, but it's to stop the droves of POOR people flooding over the U.S. borders. The citizen poor are enough of a drain on society (welfare, crime, gangs)....so how much more are the illegal poor using up resources meant for citizens. People already resent their tax dollars paying for the citizen poor.
