After clicking the above link - click the link "Regions of Birth, 1960-2015" for a graph.

The information is for legal aliens the US has allowed in the country. Can hardly say with a straight face that the US wants to keep people from the Americas out of our country. Look at the number of legal entries the US has allowed.
