And you're right, they did try to sneak those massive cuts to SS, Medicare, and Medicaid under the cover of this distraction. They have to find some way to fill the hole they blew in the budget with the tax cuts. It should be interesting to see whether the proposals make it through both Houses.
Trump's latest today was a tweet (clearly not written by him, because it was grammatically correct) saying that immigrants should be returned to their home countries without access to the courts. That violates due process guaranteed by the 6th and 14th Amendments, which apply to anyone who is standing on our soil.
