Things have advanced to the point where I'm now clueless about all this stuff and what equipment I'd have to have to "cut the cord" and still have the same/similar service to what I have now... The savings seem pretty significant - and certainly worth looking into, though. (Fortunately, I have about 10 months to get smart on this and take necessary actions before my current plan expires. )
When I think of antennae, I still think of line-of-sight needs and trying to adjust rabbit ears. [Talk about 'old school'!? ] Is "line-of-sight" still a consideration? I'm in a very hilly area, so satellite service isn't a problem but land-based signals might be an issue. Also, can anyone advise what level of data speed is recommended to not have buffering or delays in transmission? TIA.
