Belinda, I think the gentleman is trying to save money, but I wouldn't do it because it is not what notaries re supported to do. We we were legal document processors/paralegal, working for an attorney who has all kinds of E&O and liability, malpractice insurance.

He should allow escrow/title to handle this. It happens all the time.
