This is true, but the title company already knows because they reviewed the docs and sent them to you. It has nothing to do with you, as you notarizing your portion. I just wouldn't be the snitch in that business setting. It doesn't affect me at all, and it's what they did. Just me and how I would handle it.
If it a good title company or lender you work for often, you would be putting that client on the line, and now have to redraw docs, explain to everyone they didn't follow protocol, and someone's head would roll. You would not get praised for this...
