There have been a couple of occasions when I "assumed" blue ink and only after getting the entire package signed, I went back and read the notary instructions and it said to use black ink.
What to do? Do I just go with the blue ink or have them resign the entire package in black ink (after I have would have to go back to my office to reprint)? I guess I "could have" had them resign their copy and get them another copy later.
Anyhow, I went with the blue, as signed and nothing was ever said about it. I dodged a bullet in those instances but I really recommend reading the instructions BEFORE the signing starts -)
