The left is NOT stuck on abortion as birth control - you listen to too much right-wing media.
The argument is that it's the woman's body, and therefore it's her choice. If she chooses abortion, so be it; if she chooses to give birth, that's fine too. It should not be up to the state to tell her what to do with her own body, and it should definitely not be up to a bunch of religious zealots to ram their beliefs down everyone else's throat and make the decision for her. |
