Re: Anti-abortion states losing OB-GYN doctors. thoughts?

OB-GYNs tend to pay the most of any specialty, and their yearly rates can range from $85,000 up to $200,000. This compares to the average for an internal medicine doctor, which is around $20,000 a year. California and Minnesota see the lowest costs for medical malpractice insurance, but still, in those states, OB-GYNs pay the most.

So that is the driving factor it seems but the leftist will play it down that they are not allowed to do abortions so quitting. Granted, little risk and easy money doing them, sort of like an oil change to a mechanic. Let's be honest here, there will always be a way to fix a problem or get an abortion. Some may travel, it may be a huge inconvenience, but in the end, people need to take responsibility for their actions, and maybe the next time will prevent it.

Time magazine had an interesting article stating that the U.S.’s largest professional organization of ob-gyms has spent a considerable amount of money in the last decade helping anti-abortion legislators get elected to Congress.

Pretty strange, eh? it seems like many OB-GYNs don't take pleasure in dismantling a fetus either.
