Some additional consequences already happening

This is a link to a segment of last Sunday's "60 Minutes" that gets into some additional (hopefully unintended) negative consequences of having politicians get between patients and their doctor:

There have been similar experiences in the news recently, including the very well-spoken Texas woman who recently appeared before a Congressional committee after nearly dying and possibly losing her ability to get pregnant again, due to the miscarriage of a fetus conceived via IVF.
