| Mt. Elbert is 14,439 feet, one of our fourteen’ers. Not sure how he had cell reception, but maybe search and rescue has the capability. The cabin is 10,000 and snowing, so the guy had to have been in snow and possibly got hypothermia. He changed his voice message saying he was lost. Friends must have notified search and rescue because they and sheriff put out a PSA saying to call 911 and not change your voice message and stay put in one place instead moving around. |
