I've watched her complete hikes through the AT, CDT and the PCT and other trails. Goes it alone but admits to ending up with 'tramilies(?) or trail families of other thru hikers then back on her own. No problem hiking all night by herself. If you can find her on the Pacific Coast Trail towards the end in WA it gets fairly dramatic.
Often by herself, a triple crown trail hiker, she caries a satellite radio and checks in. She ain't no weenie! |
