She's already involved the police, so I do have a police report to access with which to take to small claims court.
I now her bank and with the background check website I use, I have additional information with which to track her whereabouts.
I was just posting on here because I don't like deadbeats. I'm a retired psychologist just doing mobile notary for extra traveling money...don't really need the money, certainly won't put up with liars or deadbeats....it's not the stamp, the envelope, the time, bla bla bla, she knows the check was never cashed and she could have responded earlier as I tried to get her to respond a very long time ago.
My entire home was gutted, everything ripped out due to flood disaster. I was unable to walk for 10 months and no help at all.....as I said, I have been contacting quite a few folks/businesses that have been more than gracious and all involving much more money than this, some are even shocked when hearing about this woman's behavior....this woman is less than honest or cooperative.
Anyway, you guys are slicing and dicing about a petty $10, however she's not sent a check at all, even after she called police telling them she didn't want contact.
Hey, there's something you can do! If a debt collector contacts you for money you owe, just call the police! Needless to say, and once again, the police spoke to her about the $10 as she even tried that pettiness with them. |
