your SD profile. Its an nsa percentage based on reviews of past hiring parties that have hired nsa's through the platform, that is NOT visible to registered nsa's.
If you use the Orange search button here, using SD or SnapDocs as key words in the SEARCH boxes, you will find alot of information about how using SD has hurt our profession.
It took me a long time to see this, as I was once an "advocate" for the platform. But the reality was, SD has done more harm to our profession than good.
SD has allowed many non-paying companies, to use their platform. SD has absolutely NO INTEREST NOR CARE if the NSA gets paid or not. Bottom line. No matter how much they like to butter their platform for the nsa to use, SD simply doesn't give a two craps about whether WE get paid or not; as SD will ALWAYS get paid either way.
Some of the MOST NOTORIOUS companies, listed here on Signing Central, those listed with 1 or 2 stars, use the SD platform and have been able to hire and purposely SCREW THE NSA out of their hard earned money! Not an opinion, but a fact!
The percentage rating is based on hiring parties opinions of the nsa's it hires, and before SD had any control over this, many companies took advantage and went off rating many very professional nsa's, with horrible reviews which were not true nor deserved. Once a company gives an NSA a bad THUMBS DOWN and negative review, the NSA invisible rating, goes down for the nsa, and they then get picked over when accepting closings via SD. This is a known fact.
Now, supposedly this can't happen anymore, because SD allegedly "fixed" this problem, so that only reviews can be given by actual hiring parties, BUT, the damage has been done. SD refuses to FIX previously posted bogus reviews, or even allow the afflicted NSA to directly challenge those companies that gave them bad reviews/ratings. I mean what's up with that right? Why use a platform that does the NSA platform more harm than good?
SnapDocs has been for MANY HERE and on other forums, the absolute DEVIL in this business and many nsa's that make this profession their full-time business, have closed up shop, or have resorted to a plan b, c, d, like taking up FT / PT jobs or venturing into other business opportunities.
