Some are more satisfying than others, no? You suggest that those here who've survived through thick and thin share their knowledge with the hobbyists and newbies who thought this would be an easy gig. Why would anyone want to empower their competition?
That said, I believe networking works. What I learn from my colleagues is valuable. It took them, and me, a lot of hard knocks to figure out what works in a competitive field. If I'm selfish for playing my cards close to my vest, so be it. |
