An attorney is involved? And he can't just draw up a new one for his client? He wants to chicken scratch up the original one? And he doesn't have a notary in his office to take care of this with him but rather reaching out to a notary he does not know to complete this most unusual situation. It smells to high heaven to me and I would not touch it. The next thing you know you will be on the news, and the front page of the newspaper because someone in the client's family is crying foul and you were the notary. Nope . . . definitely not worth it. |
