The why isn't the *attorney* going to the "borrower" and notarizing it himself? WITH a new POA?
I will say in response to LD's post about not being able to record - yes they can, as long as they're recording an original document or a certified copy of a previously signed document.
This whole thing sounds odd. I would not do it. Something's just not right here. |
