I was very tactful and kept my composure. This particular assignment was ordered by a SS, with whom I'd already advised of our pick-up times, but apparently they did not advise title.
Fortunately, there was no argument or screaming match, and when I hung up (amicably) I had a clear conscience, no regrets, and no bridges burned. I also notified the SS by copying and sending the emails to cover my derriere. I appreciate your input, and I guess I handled it appropriately. She was probably just frustrated. I do wonder why she didn't call on Friday, when the package did not materialize per her expectations. |
