I too have had docs like this, both as notary and as Mortgage Broker. If the lender wants it done this way and they are not telling you or the signer to wrongly date your signatures, then IMHO you should proceed. If indeed the recorder won’t record, then maybe they come back to you for a re-sign. As long as you are following notarial law, it is not your place to make legal judgments. Also, please note, the lender has the right to offer a longer period for rtc. They just can’t do less than the required 3 business days. Your signer would sign the rtc as written and date it received the date they sign.
