condition, Bear. Yes, you're absolutely correct that vaccination is the way to prevent or lessen the effects of many diseases.

Because I'm on Enbrel, which lowers my immune system, I am unable to get any live vaccine so I didn't get the previous (Zoster) vaccine. After a little research, it appears Shingrix is a non-live vaccine. I gotta get busy and start this one ASAP.
