Thank you SC/CA....I think you have a little bit of Moira in you.
Remember when she was mom in the Home Alone movies?
It's hard sometimes to see the garden for the plants. We have to sit still and look, just look. Surrounded by zinnias, dahlias, marigolds, edible calendulas and many taller flowers are heads of Romain and other lettuce, curly leaf, Toscana and Russian kales, red onions, yellow onions, green onions, carrots, arugula, cilantro, Tai basil, sweet Italia basil, oregano, thyme, pole beans, jalapenos and more, available for harvest.
On their way are Better Boys, Early Girls, red cherry toms, sungolds, yellow squash, zucchinis, pumpkin squash, buttercup squash, celery, garlic, and succession plantings of some of the above.
While looking at herbal anti-inflammatories, I came across a recipe for neem and turmeric balls...hmmm. I have both...may give it a try. May have to change my name to Yogi. |
