I agree with MW/VA. It really makes hardly any difference if eNotarization (the in-person kind or the remote kind) is approved in more states. As long as most states accept the VA remote notarization, the signing agent business as we know it is on its way out.
In the future I expect most of my notarial acts will be giving oral oaths to people who testify before my town's board of civil authority or board for the abatement of taxes. I don't get paid for those. |
